Red White Feather Plume Agate Doublet Freshwater Pearl Dangle Stamped Sterling Silver Earrings

These earrings were hand fabricated from sterling silver sheet metal. The focal stones are feather plume agate doublet. A doublet is a stone that is mounted on a composite to add stability, or in this case, color. The feather plume agates are clear with white feather like inclusions and the stones were mounted on a red composite stone. I added a hand stamped leaf border and tiny freshwater pearl dangles. All of the stones are bezel set in fine silver. The metal was oxidized. Hung from hand fabricated sterling silver French wires.

The earrings (including ear wires) are 2.75" in length and 1" in width. They weigh 8.2 grams each.
