Natural Rosecut Zambian Emerald Textured Sterling Silver 14K Gold Dot Mixed Metal Pendant Necklace

This pendant was hand fabricated from sterling silver sheet metal and 14K gold wire. It features a small, rosecut Zambian emerald, bezel set in fine silver. The emerald is what I like to call an "affordable" grade of stone. It's opaque, so not fine gem quality, but the color is beautiful. I textured the setting with a metal stamp and added six gold dots as accents. The gold dots were created by melting 14K gold wire into balls and then hammering flat into dots. The metal was oxidized and the gold was polished after for a nice sheen. Hung from a delicate, oxidized sterling silver bead and cable chain.

The pendant is 1.25" in length and .75" in width. The bead and cable chain is 18" in length and 1.55 mm in width.
