These earrings were hand fabricated from sterling silver sheet metal. They feature natural amethyst mineral slices. The stones are prong set. I gave the settings ragged tops, and textured the metal by fusing some silver dust. The metal was oxidized. Hung from hand fabricated sterling silver French wires.
A note about these earrings: the prongs are not flush with the stones. They protrude a bit because the stones are fragile and I didn't want to risk breaking a stone.
The earrings (including ear wires) are 2" in length and 1" in width. They weigh 9.34 grams each.
