These earrings were hand fabricated from sterling silver sheet metal and 14K gold wire. They feature a pair of agua nueva agates, in a pink/lavender hue with black & clear bands. These stones are very translucent, the color appears darker when photographed on any surface. I included several photos of the earrings hanging, and upright so you can see the true colors when wearing. I created cap settings to keep most of the stone exposed to light. Settings like this need extra reinforcement to keep the stones secure and I used an industrial grade adhesive. I kept the stone cap design very minimal, with only a small 14k gold ball accent. The metal was oxidized. Hung from hand fabricated sterling silver French wires.
The earrings (including ear wires) are 1.75" in length and .50" in width. They weigh 4.0 grams each.
